Office No 35

We were commissioned to renovate and style an apartment on the second floor of a well-designed building on the iconic Vasillissis Sofias Avenue, in the center of Athens, to become the office grounds for a real estate agency.

We love this area and this particular street for its elegant, cosmopolitan style. The National Garden, the Parliament, the Cycladic museum and many embassies are here. Paying homage to these surroundings and the high construction quality of the building itself we opted for minimal structural interventions.

We designed a partition structure, made of glass and wood, to separate the reception from the meeting and lounge area when privacy is needed. The partition consists of a large, sound-proofing, clear glass panel with a wooden frame and a wooden door. This structure allows for natural light to enter the reception area and for a visual connection and flow. A remotely operated black-out roller is nestled in the partition frame ensuring total privacy and enabling video projection in the meeting room.

We were given the freedom to create an eclectic style. We chose modern paintings and sculptures by Kornelios Grammenos along with signature pieces of furniture and lighting by top-class designers. We are glad all of our proposals were approved and meticulously executed. Our trusted clients love their new office -and so do we.
