Art for a cause

I had the joy of participating, alongside a group of talented creatives, in a heartwarming event organized by Stavroula, the owner, at Tales in Tiles Experience Store.

We were invited us to paint ceramic plates, with the finished pieces being sold to support a nonprofit organization dedicated to promote social welfare. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical, cheerful and brimming with creative energy. The workshop table was beautifully set up, with every material we requested at our fingertips. It took me back to my childhood, when my mother would hand me bottles of finger paints and endless sheets of paper, letting me freely express myself. I chose to work with pencil and watercolors, surrounded by upbeat music and the laughter of fellow participants.

The camaraderie was palpable, fueled not only by the sunny weather but also by the sunny spirits of those around me. It felt like a true blessing to share this time, exchanging ideas, spreading positivity and diving into the joy of creativity. Moments like these remind me of the profound beauty in coming together to create for a meaningful cause larger than ourselves.
