The analogue collection launch
October 2021The Analogue Collection unfolds as a defining body of work, comprising 16 giclée prints that mark the artist’s first public presentation as a visual artist. Developed over a period of 15 years, the series reflects a gradual and introspective exploration of image-making alongside an architectural practice.
Originating in 2006 as a personal gesture—hand-painted Christmas cards—this evolving series expanded into a cohesive collection of fine art prints, produced as high-quality digital silkscreens on premium materials.
The collection draws from Greek mythology (Cyclops, Janus, Centaur, Nereis), natural elements (Helios, Selene, Terra, Anthos, Ornithes), and introspective themes (Ades, Medusa, Melancholia). Familiar archetypes such as The Eye, The Owl, The Messenger, and The Bird are reinterpreted, bridging personal narrative with universal symbolism.
The works were exhibited at Tales in Tiles – Experience Store, a multidisciplinary design space dedicated to contemporary Greek art, ceramics, and craftsmanship. Designed by the artist’s architectural studio, the space reinforces the dialogue between art, architecture, and spatial experience.
